Postural Alignment
Postural alignment during sleep is critical, and the Lumbar area is one of the most crucial to have supported. Lumbar posture issues during sleep not only result in pain, but also have several physical affects. With a weekend posture, the supporting musculature loses strength. This also means insufficient breathing patterns and a potential for sleep apnea. And if nighttime posture is incorrect, daytime posture may also become misaligned. Together, these small issues can ultimately cause circulation and nerve issues from consistently bent joints.
